Audio Soup - 21st April

With the end of university looming, the penultimate episode of Audio Soup is here :-(

- Although we're afraid there appears to be yet another technical issue this week, and apparently the cool new feature of laying records straight from vinyl did not quite work out the way it had hoped, in that you can't actually hear the record! Hopefully this will be resolved for the next and final show so don't lose faith just yet!

Ryan found an interesting package in his hallway this morning, and he brings it in for show and tell. Meanwhile we talk to guest Vicki Isitt about the current elections, and it is revealed to Jess that she will need to take part in a fight to the death to keep her job. Also, Ryan bought something on impulse whilst out shopping the other day, and he is of course mocked by the rest of the team.

Unfortunately the sound quality is not quite as top notch as the listeners have become accustomed too, but is doesn't stop Jess from experimenting with the Apple Narrator - which isn't quite as sophisticated as they thought it would be, Ryan continues being pedantic when it comes to song and band names. The pair also conclude that "if anything annoys you, hit it with a hammer"

Ryan turns up to the studio slightly tipsy and very tired, and finds it hard to get pords out wroperly, and Chris Eubank makes a surprise guest appearance. To finish off: the studio goes very cold in a matter of minutes so Ryan and Jess warm themselves with Franz Ferdinand and rush to leave the studio
